The case of Anna Nicole Smith’s death may be reopen

Although initially the officials established that Anna Nicole Smith died from an overdose of drugs, now it turns out that they have new clues in her death’s case. After more researches, lawyer and close friend Howard K. Stern, her personal physicians, Sandeep Kapoor and Khristine Eroshevich were arrested for allegedly supplying Smith with illicit drugs. Now the officials are re-examining the case.

The experts consider that the prosecutors could reopen the case if they will find out that the defendants administered drugs to Smith illegally, causing her death. Los Angeles criminal defence attorney Alec Rose explains: “If what they know is criminal felony conduct lead to the death, then they could be considering whether or not they can bring a secondary murder charge or an involuntary manslaughter charge against any or all of these people” . Also he added that even though it passed over two years from Anna Nicole Smith’s death, the case can be re-evaluated and new charges can be made.

For the moment, Stern, Kapoor and Eroshevich are charged with felony conspiracy to furnish drugs and with prescribing a controlled substance to an addicted. They, of course, consider them selves innocent and are now free on bail.

Against their words is the California Attorney General Jerry Brown statement :“There is ample evidence that Dr. Eroshevich and Dr. Kapoor violated their ethical obligations as physicians, while Mr. Stern funneled highly addictive drugs to Ms. Smith.”

Another clue in this case, that looks very legitimate was that, Anna’s son, Daniel also died shortly before her mother. And once again Stern was near. This is too much to be considered just like a coincidence.
