Being the 'American Idol' seems nothing comparing with being a judge in this contest. And Simon Cowell has no reason to deny this. You know how much money this man does just to stay on 'American Idol'? Not less than $144 million! Yes, there is not error in that! Last year Cowell declared that he made $ 36 million for judging the show. So now, according to The Guardian, co-producers Fox and 19 Entertainment gave him three or four times the amount he had last year.

Of course that Fox refused any comment about the salary topic, but if we do some maths Cowell might win $12 million a month. After all, with the $ 900 million that 'American Idol' rakes in a year, this salary doesn’t seem too much, isn’t it?

It looks like Cowell has in mind to create “international TV production, talent management and merchandising company”.
