Penny Lancaster and
Rod Stewart want to have another Baby Jane. In a recent interview with the Mirror, Penny Lancaster talked about how much she and
Rod Stewart want to have another baby and how great it was to be pregnant. On wanting one of each: “We are trying for another
baby,” she added, “Another little boy would be wonderful but I’d also
love a little girl - one of each would be perfect.”
On being pregnant: “I felt like I bloomed when I was pregnant - but giving birth was pretty tough.” On talking about her son: “Every day he does
something different, especially now he’s talking. He’s always doing
cute things. He’s just learnt to say ‘Aberdeen’ with a Scottish accent
but Rod’s mission is to teach him how to say Celtic, so he keeps trying
to correct him saying, ‘No, Celtic!’ ”
On their parenting styles: “I’m strict but Rod’s very laidback. So Alastair goes out with dad and gets all muddy and has the chance to be a real boy. He breaks the
rules with Rod and gets more practical advice from me, which, I
believe, helps make him feel secure. It’s a good mix.” On dealing with the step-kids: “The best way to get with step-kids it to be yourself,” she added, “Kids can sense if someone isn’t genuine. I jump from being mother figure to a friend. think if you’re loving and caring, and make their dad happy, there shouldn’t be any problems.”
On getting her prepartum body back: “I didn’t focus
on getting my figure back, Alastair was my main priority. I’d never
deprive myself on a silly diet while I was breastfeeding - it starves
your baby of the nutrients it needs.”
On eating healthy foods while pregnant: “When I was
pregnant, I ate sardines on toast for the omega oils, swapped my
afternoon biscuit for an oat cookie and white bread for wholemeal.”I wonder if, when in the mood, he sings Do Ya Think I'm Sexy? to her? That would be a resounding NO!!!
