The first two times it was Sean filing, but now it is Robin’s turn to ask for it. According to The Insider, the Forrest Gump’ star filed for divorce from Oscar winner Sean Penn in papers filed in Los Angeles on August 12. The couple began dating in 1989 and married in 1996 and have two children together.

That comes only two months after 49 years old Sean Penn filled his application for a legal separation from his wife, but soon after that, he called his gesture an “arrogant mistake.” In the same time, the actor gave up on the invitation to play on ‘Three Stooges’ film in order to spend more time with his family. Unfortunately, Robin declared for More Magazine this month that she has “no plans to reconcile” with Sean.
