Paula Abdul asked $ 20 million for a new American Idol contract

More money you have, more money you want. It is almost as if you don’t ask for more, you worth less. And surly Paula Abdul thinks the same. After the whole emotional Twitter dialog with fans wanting her back and her being undecided yet, it was all about money in the end. According to RadarOnline.com, the American Idol judge demanded $20 million in order to remain in the Fox judging contest.

The former singer is still negotiating whether she will make team again with Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi on the series for the 2010 season. Only that the negotiations stoked when the producers offered her just $ 10 million. Actually the whole issue is even more profound, meaning full of envy. Abdul is upset that Idol host Ryan Seacrest signed a deal worth $45 million, which makes him the most well paid TV presenter ever.

Paula Abdul’s former contract, which expires next month, worth $5 million and her manager declared for The Los Angeles Times that “It does not appear that she’s going to be back”.
