After last week, when Mel Gibson tared one fan’s tee shirt, we found out that troubled Naomi Campbell was even more violent with a photographer in Italy last month. According to The Daily Star, the paparazzo Gaetano Di Giovanni was hospitalized after the 38 years old supermodel provoked him a scratched eye and bruises after hitting him with her handbag.

“First she hit with her bag, screaming at me and then she tried to slap me. I managed to avoid her – but her nails still got my eye. For a few seconds I could not see a thing. I could hear that her bodyguards and her boyfriend were trying to drag her away”, Di Giovanni declared.

Naomi was in the volcanic island of Lipari, just off the coast of Sicily, with BF Mikhail Prokhorov when the incident occurred. We just wonder if boyfriend Prokhorov has the same treatment when he dares to watch the diva?

Anyway, Naomi’s spokeswoman claims the accusations are “completely untrue.”
