He did it!! After winning gold medal number seven of these Olympics by one hundreth of a second on Saturday, record setting gold number eight seemed to come a little easier for Michael Phelps Sunday morning in Beijing. Joined by his teammates Jason Lezak, Brendan Hansen and Aaron Peirsol, the USA claimed gold in the 4x100 medley relay setting a world record as they did it. The headline of course belongs to Michael Phelps and his 8 gold medals, surpassing the record set by Mark Spitz at the 1972 Munich Olympics. Mr. Phelps could probably use a little relaxation after this amazing week that has been so much fun to watch.
