Yesterday, Michael Phelps was involved in a three-car accident in Baltimore, his native town around 9pm. The Olympic Gold Medal winner was driving a Cadillac Escalade, which collided with a Honda Accord. The two cars crushed after one of the drivers ignored the stoplight and then hit a third unmoving car.

Michael’s condition was stable, he wasn’t injured, but his car received "heavy damage." The swimmer refused medical treatment and left in a "personal vehicle."

One passenger from his car was injured. Also, a woman in the other car was shaken up and taken to a local hospital. She was complaining of "head and arm pain."

According to one police report, Phelps wasn’t driving under alcohol influence.
