Cameron, son of actor Michael Douglas and his first wife Diandra Luker, finally got evicted from his LA's Laurel Canyon house after several month of delayed rent payments to his landlord. According to Star magazine the $4,200 rent was initially payed for a certain amount of time by Michael Douglas but then his father financial help stopped and lessor Sky Riess begun the eviction proceedings.

“It’s been a nightmare for me… he (Douglas) stopped paying his $4,200 rent on time after two months and the payments started getting later and later."

The house was rented by Douglas the son beginning with March 2007 but no explanation could be found why he quit paying the rent. Reports reveal that Cameron Douglas has an $80 millions trust fund at his disposal.

When a LA Sheriff came with an eviction notice on February 3, the 30 year-old actor/DJ and his roommate made themselves disappear leaving behind a wreck. Among their belongings Reiss noticed evident sings of drug use.

“It was a disgusting mess. There were bloody rags in the trash and a drug-testing kit. There was a small mirror with white powder still on it and a glass for mixing chemicals. The neighbours were always complaining to me about people coming and going from the house at all hours,” said Reiss.
It is known that Cameron was check in to rehab more than one time in 2007 for drug abuse and arrested for cocaine possession, but a family history shows that neither his dad or uncle were doing better. Michael Douglas went to rehab in 1992 for alcohol abuse, while Eric Douglas died of a drug overdose in 2004.
