Sometimes when you don’t win in professional life, you do it in your private life. Take Melissa Rycroft for example. She wasn’t the winner on 'The Bachelor' or 'Dancing with the Stars', but she found herself the true love. She was proposed last month from Dallas insurance agent Tye Strickland and she accepted.

"Tye is my true love," Rycroft declared for People.

And it was about time for her to settle down, especially when seven months ago, Melissa was dropped by fiance 'The Bachelor''s Jason Mesnick. He broke up with Rycroft in order to be with the show's runner-up Molly Malaney.

It seems that Melissa knew Tye Strickland from before and they even dated in the past for over two years and a half. "No disrespect [to Jason] at all, but that situation doesn't compare to where I am now – engaged and happy. It's a different feeling," says Rycroft.

The wedding date was set, but according to Melissa "we're keeping it private. It will be a big party. I just want it to be a fun day everyone will remember."
