Or at least this is how I would interpret the fact that after only two weeks after his wife filed for divorce, he showed up in public with his new girlfriend. Yes, I’m talking about the same Oksana Grigorieva who keeps a journal about her sexual life in which she wrote pages about Mel Gibson.

The 53 years old Mel seemed very happy with the 38 years old new girlfriend. They were holding hands, but yet didn’t stop for pictures. Instead they rushed inside Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood where the even took place.

According to Us Weekly, Oksana Grigorieva is a Russian singer who was hired to compose a song for Gibson's upcoming thriller 'Edge of Darkness'. This was the context in which the two of them got close. More specifically, their romance started last summer on the Massachusetts set, but they tried to hide it, especially since Mel Gibson was married at the time.

One insider declared: "They would come out and attempt to walk around separately, but then at the end of the day, they both returned to the same hotel. She was there on and off for a week, but it was clear she had no business there other than to be with Mel."
