Lance Armstrong, father for the fourth time

Lance Armstrong, father for the fourth time

What I find great about sportive people is that they are strong enough (despite all issues) to do sport and also have a lots of children. Lance Armstrong, the multiple Tour de France winner become the father of his fourth child. His girlfriend, Anna Hansen gave birth to their first baby, a healthy boy who’s name is Max. At his birth, Max weighed in at 7lbs 5oz and is 20 inches long.

Of curse that Lance was more than thrilled about the event, as he let us see on his Twitter page. "Wassup, world? My name is Max Armstrong and I just arrived. My mommy is healthy and so am I!"Lance said, pretending it was the little boy already writing.

The announcement was made just hours after the cyclist finished 12th in the Giro d'Italia grand tour in Rome.

That is a great event for the couple who has been through a difficult time, when Lance was battling cancer. But now he feels just great, going to that point where he can compete again.

37 years old cyclist has three more children from former marriage with Kristin Richards : son Luke, 9, and 11-year-old twins Isabelle and Grace. Those three children come to this world after their mother accepted artificial fertilization with sperm that Lance had banked before undergoing chemotherapy.

Max though "was conceived naturally", as Lance Armstrong Foundation spokeswoman said in a statement to the Associated Press.

Lance Armstrong will compete in the upcoming 2009 Tour de France, which takes place from July 4th to July 26th.
