Sometimes when you are a big actor and you sign the success of one movie with your name, then you often think that you can ask for as much money you want. Take Terrence Howard for example! He is a great actor, he is talented, but sometimes he just has "too much attitude”. A proof about that concerns one of his movies 'Iron Man'. For the first part of the film, Terrence got a huge paycheck (more than Jeff Bridges, Gwyneth Paltrow or Robert Downey Jr. got). So he thought to ask more money for the sequel.
The actor told Parade Magazine that the producers made a “very, very bad choice” and they didn’t honor his contract. He also sustains that the producers changed everyone in the film, except for Robert Downey, Jr. It is true that after the success of last summer’s 'Iron Man', the producers made everyone wonder when Howard had been replaced for the sequel by Don Cheadle “They produced a great bounty with the first one but they put it all in the storehouse and you were not allowed in”, Howard said. And then he added that “they did the same thing with Gwyneth Paltrow, from what I’ve been told. They did it with almost everyone except Robert Downey.” (What is so wonderful about Robert Downey Jr. after all?)
But as a man who believes in karma, Howard says that he doesn’t have bad feelings about the film. “When someone does something wrong, you don’t have to get them back. Everything right will return the favor for you”, he explained.
So if things are like that, lets just give a chance to Don Cheadle to see what he can do, especially since Howard knows nothing is happening for no reason. Maybe another big role is waiting for him and being fired from Iron Man was just a sign-test for his wideness.
