Jeremy Piven entitled by law to leave Broadway show

Even though Jeremy Piven is an actor and like every actor he needs as much roles as can, he didn’t think twice when he left Broadway ‘Speed the Plow’ show. At the time, he claimed being mercury poisoned. After that, Piven was sued for his gesture by the show’s producers. But the judges found that Piven didn't breach any contractual obligations by leaving the show. Actually, the judges decided that there was "sufficient evidence to establish that Piven's decision was a reasonable one; that it was reasonably based, and that the contrary evidence is insufficient."

At his turn, Piven declared in a statement to The Insider that : "I'm pleased with the outcome of the arbitration and to be completely vindicated in this matter based on the facts and the medical evidence."
