Jennifer Hudson gave birth to her first child, a baby boy! According to Usmagazine.com, the Oscar winner ‘Dreamgirls’ star and her fiance Davis Otunga ‘I Love New York 2’ contestant welcomed David Daniel Otunga Jr. on Monday. The little boy weighed in at 7 pounds, 14 ounces. The surprise was huge, especially since both parents chose not to know the sex of their baby until he was born, which is very rarely these days.

"The baby is beautiful and perfect. His parents are ecstatic", 27 years old Jennifer’s representative told Us.

"I definitely want a family. You know, I'm almost 30 now, so we gotta get started sometime", the actress declared for Access Hollywood earlier this year.

The news that Jennifer was pregnant came seven months after the tragic deaths of her mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew, who were murdered in October 2008.
