Brian McCarthy, NFL spokeman confirmed to the Associated Press on Wednesday that the Dreamgirls Oscar winner, 27, will deliver "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the Tampa, Fla., event on Feb. 1.

Singing the National Anthem at The Super Bowl will be Jennifer Hudson's first scene appearance after the tragic death of her family last October.

A few days after the Super Bowl, the singer is also booked to perform Neil Diamond's songs at the MusiCares Person of The Year Gala, on February 6, in Los Angeles.
