Jeffrey Donovan arrested for DUI

Jeffrey Donovan the star from the ’Burn Notice’ film was arrested by the police after almost hitting a patrol car in Miami Beach. According to authorities, the actor was visibly drunk, even though he denied it. "I really think I'm only borderline and not too drunk. The only mistake I made tonight was drinking Benadryl and three glasses of wine", the actor told the police.

The police report shows that 41 years old Donovan’s 2009 Audi "quickly swerved in order to avoid striking the rear of the patrol car".

The actor refused to take a Breathalyzer test. After the incident he was taken to the Miami Beach police headquarters and released several hours later.
No comments were made by his representative.
