John Edwards was the candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2004 and 2008. During his campaign for the 2008 Democratic nomination for the presidency, Edwards and his wife announced that her breast cancer had returned (she had been diagnosed with cancer in 2004 and put herself under treatment), but she remained next to her husband helping him with the campaign. You could say that they have a strong family that went through a lot.

But in 2007, The National Enquirer started to write about adulterous affair between Edwards and former campaign worker Rielle Hunter. On July 2008, everybody was saying that Edward’s chances for the vice presidency was harmed by this affair and by the fact that he was the father of Hunter’s baby girl. In August 2008, after rejecting the idea of any relationship with Hunter in the past, he admitted it, but still denied being the father of her child. Almost as a bad joke, a campaign aide, Andrew Young, claimed that he, and not Edwards, is the child’s father. Young looked very much like a man who wanted to cover up Edwards.

Maybe, Edwards didn’t do the paternity test and he doesn’t either accept being the father of Hunter’s girl. But here there is a photo with the girl, who’s almost 3 years old now. And if this doesn’t show the huge resemblance between them, then I don’t know what else could!
