Eva Longoria Parker is returning to her native basis! The Mexican-American actress is going to play in her first Spanish speaking film role. The movie, called ‘Day of Grace’ is a story about kidnapping.

According to producer Leopolodo Gout, who gave an interview for The Associated Press, the ‘Desperate Housewives’s character will help solve the mystery at the center of the film’s plot. He mentioned that Longoria “read the script and loved the characters and the story’s depth.”

The film will start to be filmed later this year in Mexico City.
