Ellen Degeneres and Portia De Rossi are planning their upcoming wedding, for which, they have already set a date. Ellen revealed at the Daytime Emmys on Friday, where she won the Best Talk Show Host award, that they have indeed set a wedding date and that planning a wedding is very stressful. Hell yeah it is! Ellen also revealed that she is such an awesome girlfriend that she is planning on flying Portia's mother in from Australia for the blessed occasion.
“Yes, we have set a wedding date,” she confessed. “Portia has a ring. It’s a Neil Lane ring.”
"How do I feel about it? I obviously feel like it's long overdue," she added.
"I think someday people will look back on this like women not having the right to vote and segregation and anything else that seems ridiculous that we don't all have the same rights," DeGeneres said.
"Planning a wedding is very stressful," DeGeneres said. "It's crazy. My gardener is now invited."
“We have incredible people singing” at the wedding, Ellen said. “It’s very exciting.”
I am so happy for Ellen & Portia. They are a great couple and it really looks like they'll be together FOREVER. I know I'm getting a little too carried away over here but she really doesn't seem like a Anne Heche to me, honestly, and I know that Ellen won't ever be a Anne Heche so, personally, I think this couple will be just fine!
