Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen's wife has been hospitalized early today after having premature contractions. Her rep is saying she's doing fine and will soon leave the clinic.

"Brooke is at a Los Angeles-area hospital, where she was admitted yesterday morning with premature contractions – which is not all that unCommon for someone at this stage of pregnancy, especially with twins," says publicist Stan Rosenfield. "She's fine and is expected to be discharged from the hospital today."

Charlie Sheen and his wife announced they will become parents in August 2008, only a few months after their marriage in May. For Brooke, who's pregnant with twins it's going to be the first time to embrace the maternal experience, while Charlie Sheen has two daughters with Denise Richards, Sam, 4, and Lola, 3, and a 24-year-old daughter, Cassandra, from a previous marriage.

According to reports, Brooke will have to give birth to her two sons in April.
