David and Victoria Beckham escaped from a terrifying car crash in France unscathed, according to reports. The couple, who were visiting their holiday home in Bargemon, near the French Riviera, had the accident on Friday (22 August) just before the England star flew to Beijing to take part in the Olympics Closing Ceremony. 
The pair were on ther way to Nice airport to catch a plane to China, when Beckham reportedly crashed their black BMW into a wall, causing the windscreen to smash and extensive damage along the passenger side. 
David was reportedly spotted comforting a tearful Victoria in the car, before running to the airport with her father Tony Adams leaving her with the wreck. No other vehicles are said to have been involved in the incident.
