He is 62 years old but he thinks he has chances to win the ’Dancing With The Stars’ show. We are talking about former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay. Tom has joined the cast of the ninth season of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ saying that he is “in it to win it!” He doesn’t know who his partner will be, but ‘’The Hammer’’ wants to prove that “Conservatives can have fun too.” “You gotta love dancing if you’re from Texas. I’ve been dancing all my life”, he declared for ‘Good Morning America’. He warned though about wearing an open shirt during the show: “If I open my shirt, I’ll have to get some false hairs.”

The ninth season of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ premieres Sept. 21 @ 8PM on ABC.

In the past, DeLay was called “The Hammer” for his reputation of hammering legislation through Congress and he had to resign from it after being indicted on campaign finance violations.
