Once you become a star, it doesn’t even matter what you do in order to be famous. Actually, more you do, the better it can be.

Now it is Christina Aguilera’s turn to show us that she can be more then a singer, that she can also be an actress. Aguilera who has a big palmares (four Grammy Awards, a Latin Grammy and has sold more than 25 million albums) wants it all. And after she lent her voice to the 2004 animated flick, 'Shark Tale' and performed the title song in 2001's 'Moulin Rouge' with Pink, Lil' Kim and Maya, now she wants to be an actress.

So she will make her debut in a movie called 'Burlesque'. The film is a musical and Aguilera plays the role of a small-town girl with a big voice who finds success at an L.A. neo-burlesque club. The movie will begin filming late this year and it is produced by Sony Picture's Screen Gems.
