To be one big cosmetic company's spokesmodel, you need to be a really beautiful woman. And since Girls Aloud frontwoman Cheryl Cole has this quality, she will be the new spokesmodel for beauty brand L’Oreal Paris after signing a Ł500,000 deal.

26 years old British singer will represent the brand for several print and television promos in the UK.

“I have always loved the brand and have always wanted to say the iconic phrase: ‘Because you’re worth it’, so to be given that opportunity is absolutely amazing”, she declared.

“Cheryl is a glamorous, stylish and talented young woman whose warmth and charm has captivated the nation and helped to establish her as an inspiration to women throughout the UK. L’Oreal can’t be happier about signing a deal with Cheryl”, Gayle Tait, L’Oreal’s general manager said in a statement.

Cheryl’s first L’Oreal campaign will promote the brand’s new hair product called Elvive Full Restore 5, premiering next month.
