Brad Pitt was not always as strong as he is now. After his role in 1993’s ‘True Romance’ where he played a pot smoker, the actor started to do the same in his real life. At least until recently when he has quited the pot. The news about his smoking habit was revealed in one interview he gave on HBO. Bill Maher, the interviewing host questioned Pitt about his new role in ‘Inglorious Basterds’ and, at one moment, he come up with a story involving Pitt. It seems that one time, for New Year’s Eve, at a party, Brad was rolling "the most perfect" joints Maher had ever seen. Brad’s response to that: "I'm an artist."

But anyway, Brad Pitt was a pot smoker! What made him change his mind and quit it? Well, his kids did! "I'm a dad now. You want to be alert and my eyes used to glaze over when I did that," he told Maher. Brad Pitt has six children with Angelina Jolie: Maddox, 7, Pax, 5, Zahara, 4, Shiloh, 3, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 1.

And, as he recently declared for Parade, the fact that he was smocking was making his work difficult. "I liked to smoke a bit of grass at the time, and I became very sheltered. Then I got bored. I was turning into a damn doughnut, really. So I moved as far away from that as I could. I was done", he said.
