As we said, the MTV Video Music Awards will take place this year on September 13. Until now, this 13 was a lucky number for some of the artists, especially for the girls. Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears took almost all the nominations. So they might transform 13 September on a Pyjama Party with Girls. Anyway, Beyonce and Lady Gaga earned nine nominations, while last year’s winner, Britney received seven for ‘’Womanizer’’ and ‘’Circus’’.

In what man are concerned, Jay-Z, Eminem, Kanye West and Ne-Yo are all up for Best Male Video.

Coldplay, Green Day, Paramore, Fall Out Boy and Kings of Leon are nominated for Best Rock Video.

The big battle will be of course for the Video of the Year. Here there is a sex-mixed competition: Beyoncé with "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)", Eminem with "We Made You," Britney Spears with "Womanizer," Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" and Kanye West's "Love Lockdown".
