The interview that Anne Heche gave to David Letterman was part funny and part dramatically. Most of the time, the actress talked about her ex-husband, Coley Laffoon and the words she used weren't quiet nice.
"Can you say 'lazy ass' on TV?" Heche rhetorically asked on the ’Late Show with David Letterman' when asked about her 7 years old Homer son’s father.
Their relationship is long over but they are still arguing six months after reaching to one settlement which includes $3,700 per month on child support payments to Laffoon for their son. The two of them got divorced in 2007 after five years of marriage. And it was a very tough divorce in which they shared severe accusations: Heche said Laffoon craved "porn, poker and money." He fought back and claimed she was mentally unstable.
Asked what her former husband does for living, Heche responded with a funny-sad answer: "He goes out to the mailbox and he opens up the little mailbox door and goes, 'Oh! I got a check from Anne! Oh! I got a check from Anne! Yay!' ''Then she added that Laffoon "is doing a lot for himself right now. I think he wants to coach soccer right about now. It's funny because you can't quite let go of the ex."
Now that she is over Laffoon, Anne Heche who costars on HBO's ’Hung’, has found love with former ’Men in Tree’s costar James Tupper. They had their first child together this year, a baby boy named Atlas Heche Tupper.
"Don't get married. Forever engaged is a wonderful romantic thing to do", she advised in the end.
UPDATE: As a response to Anne's words, 35 years old Laffoon wrote on his Twitter page: ''I wish Anne Heche could see that public bullying isn’t good for the soul or positive for her child. It’s mean.''
