Alanis Morissette has announced that she wants to write her autobiography. The singer has made an arrangement with publisher HarperCollins and will start working at the book later this year. Among other topics, the ‘Ironic’ singer wants to tell about her five years old relationship with former boyfriend and actual husband of Scarlett Johanson, Ryan Reynolds. That is the reason for which 24 years old Scarlett is very upset. According to The National Enquirer, the actress, who’s very discreet about her personal life, is afraid that Morissette would write something about her and her marriage with Reynolds which took place last September in Canada.

Alanis and Ryan Reynolds have dated from 2002 until 2007. And it seems that Alanis was very affected by the split.

“Ryan was important part of Alanis’ life, and she plans to dedicate an entire chapter to her relationship with him, how devastated she was by their breakup, and how she felt when he married Scarlett. Ryan will be cool with the book — he’s not especially secretive guy. Scarlett is private, and likes to think that Ryan is hers and hers alone. But there’s nothing she can do about it. Alanis is set on writing her autobiography no matter how Scarlett might feel”, an insider declared for Enquirer.

It turns out that Alanis decided to write her lifestory after Michael Jackson’s death.

“She sees how much conflicting information there is about Michael, and she doesn’t want that happen to her. She wants to lay her life out for everyone to see — even if it angers Scarlett”, a friend revealed.
