When Jamie and Lynne Spears staged an intervention in their daughter's, Britney, defense, they were hoping to save something more than just her life. Britney had a reported $100 million fortune, out of which she managed to squander away about $60 million. Her mom and dad had to bring in a financial analyst to bring the crazy whirl win under control, and help salvage some of the money Britney worked so hard for. When she was brought into a meeting to discuss her financial situation, she wasn't interested at all, until her mother point blank told her that she'd be bankrupt by the time her kids enter grade school. That seemed to do the trick, and get her a little awakened towards her (and her children's) future.
