Age of Love July 9 Biography

This week on Age of Love, the Kittens were forced to merge into Cougar territory up on the 40th floor and neither group was pleased with the new cohabitation arrangements. The episode also showed us a refreshingly different side of bachelor, Mark Philippoussis who now seems to be calling the shots and canning the excuses.Giselle Melanson lives and writes in Halifax, Nova Scotia; where the weather is cold, but the people are warm. Giselle enjoys killing her inner-child by watching people degrade themselves on reality TV, which makes fools of us all.Recap: The show opens in the Cougars suite, where one of the 40-somethings has announced that she is making brownies to welcome the Kittens into their new home. It's a seemingly sweet gesture until she adds with a wicked smile, it's so they can get fat!The felines first activity of the day is an intense triathlon, in which the first three ladies to reach Mark on his yacht waiting in the water will get to spend the evening aboard with him. Twenty-something Tessa ends up rolling her ankle, and is escorted away by ambulance. The triumphant trio is comprised of two Cougars (Kelli and Jayanna) and a Kitten (Amanda).More physical activity is on the agenda the following day, when the ladies compete in a tennis match. Tessa impresses Mark with her tenacity by getting in the game, despite her injury. Although the Cougars win the match against the Kittens, it is Tessa who wins Mark's attention, and he chooses her to accompany him on a date to his Bachelor pad. Amidst wine, candles, and flowers, Tessa decides it's the perfect time to discuss of all things her fellow Kitten Amanda, and how much she adores Mark.Meanwhile, back on the 40th floor, a catfight breaks out when one of the Cougars calls the Kittens prima donnas for their constant complaining. This sends sensitive Kitten, Mary, into a crying fit which doesn t really amount to much, considering she seems to cry whenever she is angry, confused, offended basically whenever she is awake.It's elimination time, and Mark has decided that he wants to meet with each of the ladies individually before deciding who should go. Awkwardness ensues when several of the women straight-out ask for a kiss, and then Smitten Kitten, Amanda interrogates Mark about all of the women he's kissed.Instead of the standard formal-wear elimination ceremony, Mark has decided he wants to hold the ceremony in the ladies suite; and rather than dumping them privately, he sends two packing in front of their peers. Kitten, Tessa; and Cougar, Kelli are given the boot; only this time, Mark has canned the long excuses instead, he tells each that he just doesn t think it will work out.Score: a YUD. With the Cougars beating out the Kittens in all of the physical challenges so far, next week's surfing and motorcycle activities should be interesting.
