Yvonne Capehart Biography

Music is a vehicle for expressing the deep spiritual convictions of author, gospel singer, and songwriter Yvonne Capehart. The co-pastor, with her husband, of the Believers Life Center in Pensacola, Capehart continues to deliver her soulful message at seminars, revival meetings, conferences, retreats, and concerts. Having earned a bachelor’s degree in special education at the University of West Florida in 1991, Capehart went on to acquire a master’s degree in educational leadership in 1996, and a doctorate in pastoral counseling and psychology in May 2001. She claims to have received a Ph.D. (prophetic, healing, and deliverance ministry) from the L.I.F.E. (Living in Full Evidence of the Power) Institute. Capehart’s debut 1999 album, I Will Carry You, was followed by I Speak Life in You in 2001. Her first book, After All I’ve Been Through, I’m Still Here With a Praise, was published the same year. A founder of Sister Keeper, a network magazine and fellowship for women, Capehart is president of 2BLEEV Music & Publishing.
