Reg Jones Biography

Reg Jones’ special area of enthusiasm is the music associated with vintage cinema, such as the serials of the ’20s. His research and liner notes have been part of several releases by James King & His CinemaSound Orchestra, evoking the era when audience members’ pockets were stuffed with candy purchased for a matter of pennies, and the admission itself was no more than a dime. Jones scribbles for specialist magazines such as Cinema Sound, providing reviews of films as well as articles on events such as special theater openings.
