Marianne Camarda is a New York City-based writer and a graduate of Brown University. Past writing credentials include staff senior copywriter at ELLE Magazine as well as writing assignments for Hearst Publications, Travel Holiday, Worth, YM, and Seventeen. Various fashion clients include Bloomingdale’s, ID Model Management. Lou Lingerie. Marianne also works regularly as a consultant with PEOPLE Magazine, TEEN People, and Glamour. As a musician, Marianne has behind her a lifetime of study specializing in keyboard/piano, voice and acoustic guitar. As an undergraduate, Marianne was accepted through audition to the Brown University Music Program, where she was one of a select group of students invited to study with the Brown Music Department. As a vocalist, Marianne has performed with numerous groups, most recently New York City’s Collegiate Chorale. Performances include the US Premiere of Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Oratorio, as well as a television special with Peter Paul and Mary for PBS’ Great Performances series. Marianne’s favorite pastime is playing her acoustic guitar, or listening to music.
