Appearing in commercials, television shows, and movies since she was a child, Hayden Panettiere had parts in Ally McBeal, Remember the Titans, and Message in a Bottle and was the voice of Dot in the animated film A Bug’s Life before being cast as the role of Claire Bennet in the NBC series Heroes. Coincidentally, the increased exposure gave Panettiere the opportunity to pursue her musical interests (she had had songs included on various teen pop compilations), and, signed to Hollywood Records, she started work on her full-length debut, with a release (after a couple of delays) scheduled for early 2008.
