Ni Voz Ni Voto Biography

Five-piece Peruvian band Ni Voz Ni Voto was formed in 1994. After playing at small underground venues around Lima, the group had the opportunity to participate in a rock festival in 1996, allowing the act to get involved in the local alternative scene. In 1999, Ni Voz Ni Voto was chosen as one of the finalists after participating in a music contest called Miraflores. Later, the band released a self-titled EP, getting one of its songs in a compilation called Acidez, issued in March of 2000. That same month, Ni Voz Ni Voto participated in Festirock 2000 at Campo de Marte.
