Metal band from Uruguay Amables Donantes was formed in 1990 by singer Herardo Trápani, bassist Pablo Lugli, drummer Guzmán Vila, and guitarist Carlos Lugli. In October of 1992, the band participated in a local festival called El Flechazo and later in a rock show in front of 6,000 people at Ramón Collazo’s theatre. In 1993, guitarist Javier Lorenzo joined in. In June of 1995, Amables Donantes released its first album, called La Furia. In 1996, Lorenzo decided to leave the band. That same year, Amables Donantes played along with Argentinean punk rock band los Violadores. Former Aníbal Caníbal singer Rodrigo Costas joined in 1997. A year later, the band participated in a compilation called Skate Rock 4 with two of its songs. By the end of 1999, Manual de Supervivencia Urbana was released. In the year 2000, Amables Donantes was awarded by a local rock organization called Agítese, which chose “El Mono Quiere Saltar” as Best Song of the Year, “Mi Calle” as Best Song Lyrics, and Guzmán Vila as Best Rock Drummer.
