Comprised of members Mark Levine (piano), Michael Spiro (percussion), David Belove (bass), Ron Stallings (soprano, alto, tenor sax, flute, vocals), Jeff Cressman (trombone), and Paul van Wageningen (drums), the seeds of the Latin jazz outfit Que Calor were planted in February of 1997, when Stallings and Levine traveled to Cuba to study with regional master musicians

Quest is nominally a cooperative band which includes saxophonist Dave Liebman, pianist Richie Beirach, drummer Billy Hart, and, at various times, bassists George Mraz and Ron McClure
Quiet Sun originally formed around Dulwich College in 1970 as a four-piece progressive rock band featuring Phil Manzanera (guitar), Bill MacCormick (bass), Charles Hayward (drums), and Dave Jarrett (keyboards)
