A respectable mid-’70s fusion and light bop ensemble that didn’t remain together very long. Their only album for East Wind, Fly On, offered eight pleasant numbers. There were some notable names on board, among them trombonist Bruce Fowler, keyboardist Stu Goldberg and Steve Fowler on flute and alto saxophonists. Others in the band included Walt Fowler on trumpet and miraphone, Albert Wing on soprano and tenor sax, guitarist Mike Miller and Ed and Tom Fowler on electric bass.
