James Reynolds Biography

This artist’s dedication to dance music is the reason so many people wind up out of breath on a typical party night in Ibiza. In the ’90s, James Reynolds, Pete Lorimer, and Pete Doyle, among other collaborators, were creating material for S’Express and Slaves 2 the Rhythm, among other clients, cutting clods of chatter out of clubbing communication with the precision messaging of titles such as “Intercourse” and “Touch Me Here.”The Braund-Reynolds duo project came up with the huge hit “Rocket” in the following decade, Reynolds and Ben Braund proving to be a stimulating matchup, live shows by the group also featuring the brilliant turntable player DJ First Rate. Reynolds focuses on keyboard and programming skills as part of Bodyrockers, a live house combo that released the 12” “Round and Round” in 2005. This is not the James Reynolds who recorded new age music for the Miramar label.
