Angela Michelle Harmon was born on August 10, 1972, in Highland Park, Texas. Her parents, Larry Paul Harmon and Daphne Demar Caravageli, were both models in the 1970s. On her mother's side, Angie is of Greek descent and on her father's side she is of Cherokee Native American descent.Harmon worked as a child model throughout the 1980s, eventually winning a Seventeen magazine modeling contest in 1988. In 1990, Angie graduated from Highland Park High School. Shortly after graduating she won a Model Search contest that launched her modeling career, making her well known by the early 1990s. Harmon became a successful runway model strutting her good looks in shows for designers like Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani, and Donna Karen.Following her success as a model, Harmon decided to give acting a try and by 1995 had landed several jobs in television. She became best known for starring in Baywatch Nights, and Baywatch alongside David Hasselhoff. Harmon was actually discovered by Hasselhoff, who noticed her on an airline flight and asked her if she d like to be on his show.In 1999, when Harmon was making and appearance on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, she told Leno about her latest run-in with the cops. Harmon was pulled over for a rolling-stop violation. After telling the officer that she didn t have her license on her (it was in the trunk) he asked her to step out of the vehicle. She said, no, and when he asked why she told him that it was because she didn t have any pants on. He quickly flashed his flashlight into the car to confirm her statement. Harmon then explained that she sat on a mound of fire ants and was forced to strip down to her bra and panties. Her clothing and purse were in the trunk of her car.Harmon also spent time working on the show, Law Order: Special Victims Unit from 1998 to 2001, but she left the show in order to concentrate on a career in film. Her first film was Lawn Dogs (1998). In 2001, Harmon appeared in a straight to video movie called Good Advice. Her most recent film was the straight to video drama, End Game, co-starring Cuba Gooding Jr. and James Woods.Angie's biggest role to date was a supporting role in the 2003 film, Agent Cody Banks starring Frankie Muniz. The film was a minor hit and Harmon signed on for the sequel, but unfortunately, Harmon was cut from the cast when the filmmakers decided to take a different approach with the second movie. She also had a small role in the film Fun with Dick and Jane (2006), starring Jim Carrey and Tea Leoni.In 2000, pro football player Jason Sehorn proposed to Harmon on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The couple married on June 9, 2001. They have two daughters together, Finley Faith (born on October 14, 2003) and Avery Grace (born on June 22, 2005).In contrast to many other popular celebrities, Angie publicly affiliates herself with the Republican Party and has socially conservative viewpoints. She has been a huge supporter of President George W Bush and the War on Terror and in 2004, Harmon made a speech at the Republican National Convention.
