This California girl comes from a family full of famous people. Although Allegra may not have achieved the same level of fame as some of her famous relatives, she appeared in sexy photo shoots during the 1990s, and has also worked in film, both behind the scenes, and as an actress.Allegra Curtis was born on July 12, 1966, in Los Angeles, California. Her father is New York actor and Oscar nominee Tony Curtis. Her mother, Christine Kaufmann, is a Golden Globe winning German actress. Both of her parents married numerous times, making Allegra the half sister of actresses Jamie Lee Curtis and Kelly Curtis, and the ex step-daughter of actresses Andrea Savio and Leslie Curtis. Allegra's current step-mother is actress Jill Vandenberg Curtis.Allegra's childhood was divided between the United States and Germany. Her parents divorced shortly after Allegra's birth, and Allegra and her sister, Alexandra, moved to Germany with their mother. At the age of seven, she moved to Los Angeles, living with her father for nine years before returning to Europe.Allegra is perhaps best known for her sexy photo shoots and pictorials, and her beautiful body and face graced the pages of several magazines during the 1990s. An eight-page spread featuring Curtis was included in the December 1988 edition of Playboy in Germany. She then appeared on the cover of the adult French magazine Lui in 1989. In April of 1990, the American version of Playboy, founded by Hugh Hefner, featured Allegra in their publication.
