Vince Vaughn Biography

Vince Vaughn Although his rise to stardom was anything but easy, Vince Vaughn is now a well-known Hollywood actor. His famous circle of co-stars and friends, as well as his rumored love connection with one of tinsel town's most beautiful faces have made him a favorite topic of entertainment news in recent months. Vince Vaughn was born on March 28th, 1970 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Although he did not have any formal acting training, his appearance in a Chevy commercial convinced Vaughn that he was meant for the big screen. After his move to Hollywood, big screen success remained elusive as he auditioned, unsuccessfully, for many roles. Following a few television appearances, he appeared in his first film, Rudy, in 1993. It was his appearance in the 1996 film Swingers that convinced Steven Spielberg to include Vaughn in the hit sequel The Lost World: Jurassic Park. This was Vince's much-needed break. Since The Lost World he has appeared or starred in several hit comedies including: Old School, Dodgeball and Wedding Crashers. He is set to appear in the upcoming films Old School Two and No Place Like Home. Vince's movie career is somewhat unique in that he chooses to share the screen with the same actors frequently. One of his frequent co-stars is Ben Stiller, who is known for such films as There's Something About Mary. They appeared in three movies together in 2004 alone.Vaughan's clique of frequent co-stars also includes Will Ferrell, former Saturday Night Live comedian; Jack Black, one of the stars of King Kong; Steve Carell, who played the loveable nerd in The Forty Year Old Virgin; Owen Wilson, co-star of Starsky and Hutch; and Luke Wilson, who had a starring role in Old School. Vaughn has acted with one or more of these six actors in many movies including the comedies Anchorman and Starsky and Hutch. The group of seven has been affectionately dubbed The Frat Pack by the media. Vaughn found himself a favorite topic of the paparazzi earlier this year when he was romantically linked to The Breakup's co-star Jennifer Aniston. Aniston is the former wife of Brad Pitt and played Rachael Green in the hugely-popular television show Friends. Aniston and Pitt's marriage ended early 2006 when it was rumored that he was having an affair with Angelina Jolie. Incidentally, Vince also acted with Pitt and Jolie in Mr. and Mrs. Smith. At first it wasn t clear whether the Vaughan-Aniston romance was fact or merely a rumor started by eager tabloids. They had publicly stated that they are just friends; but reports of the two cuddling on the set of The Breakup, as well as sightings of the pair together in Malibu only fueled rumors of a romantic connection. Finally, the couple admitted to being together, though rumors still fly about: one day the tabloids claim they are engaged, the next they have broken up. And on and on it goes...
